Elkhart- Blanche M. Crume, 86, of 333 W. Mishawaka Road, died at 10 a.m. Sunday (Feb 4, 2007) in Elkhart General Hospital. She was born April 13, 1920, in Hines, Minn., to Daniel and Many Ann (Holmes) Kile. In June 1937, she married Floyd Crossland in Cabool, MO. He died in February 1942, She married John E. Crume on June 22, 1943. He died July 6, 1990. She is survived by three daughters, Margaret Marie Bramel of Elkhart IN, Frances F. Miller of Lima, Ohio, and Rena Maryann (Aaron) Rawls of Yulee, Fl; and four sons, Earl Eugene Crossland of Mishawaka, Delmar Floyd (Sally) Crossland of San Antonio, James E. (Judy) Crume of Willmaar, Minn., and Billie J. (Chom "Su") Crume of Granger; and several grandchildren and great-children. She was preceded in death by two sons, David Dean Crossland, and Joe Allen Crume, and four brothers, John, Parle, Irvin and Donald Kile. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the 9 a.m. Thursday funeral service, all at Walley-Mills -Zimmerman Funeral Home & Crematory, 700 R. Jackson Blvd., Elkhart. Burial will be in Osceola Cemetery. Mrs. Crume retired from St Kauffman Laundry Mat, where she was employed for 10 years as an attendant Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Services of Northern Indiana, P. O. Box 4204 South Bend, IN. 46634.
