When Elizabeth Oakman was born on May 10, 1701, in Marshfield, Plymouth, Massachusetts, her father, Tobias Oakman, was 37, and her mother, Elizabeth Doty, was 27. She married Elisha Ford on January 11, 1719/20 in Marshfield, Plymouth, Massachusetts. They had: Elisha, Jr, Samuel, Patience, Bethiah, Jerusha, Priscilla, Isaac, Tabitha, and William. She died on November 5, 1768, in Marshfield, Plymouth, Massachusetts, at the age of 67. She buried there in the Cedar Grove cemetery as is her husband. She was the 6th great grandmother of my husband. My mother in law's mother was a Ford. We had Ford/ Spain for over 60 years but when the older ones passed away we seem to see each other at funerals.
