CLARENCE WILMER MONGAN, 131 Elm Street, died at the Washington County Hospital yesterday, aged 78 years. Born and reared at Tilghmanton, he was the son of Michael and Annie (Moats) Mongan. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Miller, Sea Breeze, NY; Mrs. Elsie Powell, Hagerstown; Mrs. Helen Lapaglia, Los Angeles; son, Wilbur, Hagerstown; sisters, Mrs. Agnes Lizer, Mrs. Iren Jones, Tilghmanton; brothers, Jeremiah, Tilghmanton; Ivey H., Clyde, Keedysvlle; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Coffman Funeral Home; interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
