Born and raised in Tilghmanton, she was the daughter of Jeremiah and Anna Rebecca (Moats) Mongan. She was a member of the Church of God, Hagerstown.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Jack Sisk, Tilghmanton; sisters, Mrs. Agnes Lizer, Tilghmanton; Mrs. Irene Jones, Fairplay; brothers, Clarence, this city; Jeremiah, Tilghmanton; Ivy and Clyde M, both of Keedysville.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 pm (EST)at the Manor Church, the Rev Elmer Long officiating. Interment in adjoining cemetery.
The body was removed to the Earnshaw Funeral Home and will be taken to the residence this evening where it may be viewed until Friday noon. It will lie in state in the church until funeral time.
