James Olsen Called By Death
James R. Olsen died at his home Monday, June 1, 1936.
Mr. Olsen, son Jens and Ane Kristine Nielson Olsen, was born April 23, 1869 at Ephraim, Utah. At the age of 7 he moved to Manti. Here on the sixth of September, 1893 he married Goldie Stringham, who died March 20, 1920.
Mr. Olsen has been a quiet, peaceful anassuming Latter Day Saint. He filled a mission to Norway, leaving Manti on April 16, 1906 and returning June 7, 1908. On June 8, 1922 he married Sarah Tooth.
Surviving him are his wife, and four children; Arvella Henrie of Juniper, Idaho: Dewey of Preston, Idaho; Frank A. of Afton, Wyoming and Mrs. Reva Anderson of Manti.
Funeral services were held Thursday in the North Ward Chapel with Bishop E. T. Reid in charge.
