THE DAILY OKLAHOMAN:Alonzo "Clyde" Adams, 86, died Wednesday, January 27, 1999 of heart failure, in Oklahoma City. He was born on April 20, 1912 in Chandler, Oklahoma. Clyde served in the 27th Infantry in W.W. II & retired from the United States Postal Service after 33 years.He belonged to the 32nd degree Masons, Bethany Lodge Eastern Star of Sheal Chapter, Queen City Odd Fellows, member of the Oklahoma Encampment, & belonged to the Baptist Temple Church. He is preceded in death by a son "Smokie" Adams. Clyde is survived by his loving wife, Faith Opal; son, Jim & his wife, Kay; one brother, Leo Adams, Thelma Sloggett, Lema Curtis & Mallie Earp, as well as her grandchildren.
