QUEER ACCIDENT
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Peterson's little daughter Helen had the misfortune of breaking the bone in one of her arms last Saturday. Her little brother was out in the street playing with his wagon and got stuck in the mud. He called to his sister to come and help him. Mrs. Peterson was watching them at the time, so Helen said, "Mama, I will go and help him." Her mama said, "All right, go ahead." The little girl started to go, but stopped and fell on the sidewalk. She got up again crying. Her mama said, "That's nothing to cry for, run along;" But noticed at once the shape in which the arm hung, and called for assistance. On examination it was found that the arm was broken in two places. Dr. Bennett was called and soon had the little one as comfortable as possible.

IN MEMORIAM
"I cannot say and I will not say that she is dead, she is just away".
Helen Peterson, second daughter of Walter A. and May Peterson slipped away Monday morning. Appendicitis seemed to be the cause of the little house not being able to shelter her longer.
She came into the system of things January 31, 1904 and stayed about 10 years and then went to play with the other children on the golden street.
The many friends gathered Wednesday afternoon to help lift the darkness. The little Methodist church where she attended was filled and flowers were in abundance suggestive of the innocent eternal bounty which was and shall forever be. The pastor was assisted by Rev. Cannon, a close friend of the family.
