Anna Larson

NORWAY—Anna J. Larson, 96, of Norway died Thursday, June 4, 1998, at the Hyland Nursing Home in Iron Mountain.

Mrs. Larson was born Sept. 15, 1901, in Norway, daughter of the late Frank and Barbara (Morosini) Casanova.

She married Nels Larson and he preceded her in death.

Mrs. Larson was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Norway, St. Mary's Altar Society, Norway-Vulcan Senior Center and she was a Gold Star Mother.

She leaves a brother, Mike Casanova of Norway; two sisters, Amelia (Louis) VanLaere of Norway and Rose Paquette of Norway, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Larson also was preceded in death by her son, Robert Larson, who died in World War II; a brother, Charles Casanova; twin brothers, Ernest Casanova and Frankie Casanova; a brother, Frank Casanova Jr., who died in World War II, and two sisters, Louise Kurtz and Barbara Wilson.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Norway.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Church. Fr. Mark McQuesten will officiate.

Burial will be in the Norway Township Cemetery.

The Miner Funeral Home of Norway is in charge of arrangements.
