CHAS. CASANOVA, ONLY 35 PASSED AWAY RECENTLY
Charles Casanova, born Sept. 28, 1898, and a lifelong resident of Norway, died at Penn hospital last Saturday, aged 35 years. The deceased was a well-known resident of the Third Ward. He had been in failing health for some time, yet his sudden death was a sad blow to his relatives and friends.
Besides his widow, Anna, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. Casanova, he is survived by four children, Arthur, Eugene, Lorraine and Eloise; also five sisters, Mrs. Nels Larson, Mrs. Paul Kurtz, Mrs. Louis VanLear, and the Misses Barbara and Rose; also three brothers, Mike, Ernest and Frank, all residents of this community.
Funeral serves were held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning at St. Mary's Church, the pastor, Rev. E. Dooley, officiating. Internment was made in Norway cemetery.
Mr. Casanova was a member of the L.O.O.M. and the local Moose assisted at the funeral.
