Milford Spruill Is Claimed by Death on Sunday
Milford Spruill, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Spruill, died at a local hospital Sunday morning at 11 a.m. following an illness of three days.
Funeral services were held ? afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. conducted by Rev. Emmett Evans, and Rev. J.N. Tinkle. Interment in the Newlin Cemetery by the King Mortuary in Memphis.
Pallbearers were Sidney Koenig, ? Nelson, Henry Crow, ? amage, Woodrow Reed, and ? McWhorter. Those in charge of flowers were Dorothy ?, Lou Shepherd, Bonnie ?, ? Edwards, Elzina ?, ? Elliott, Lillian Nelson and Jeraldine Lawrence.
The Hall County youth was born November 20, 1919, near Newlin and lived there all his life with the exception of one year.
He is survived by his parents; five brothers, J.C. Spruill of Harrell Chapel, R.V. Spruill, of Lindsey, Calif.; Roy of Upper Lake, Calif.; W. and Elmer Spruill of Memphis; three sisters, Mrs. Lonnie ?, ? Eli and Irene Spruill of Memphis.
