DELONG - Henry P. DeLong, age 71 years, passed away at his home in Bernalillo, N.M., early Wednesday morning. He had resided there for the last 18 years.
A son of Joseph and Malinda (Overholser) DeLong, he married on 7 Apr 1890 in Fort Dodge, Webster County, Iowa to Elfleetie McKinley (Marriage Record in Webster County, Iowa Book 5, Page 23). They had four sons. After her death, he married her sister, Leota Belle McKinley, in the same year, 1899.
Survived by his wife, three daughters, Willanna of Bernalillo, Mrs. A. P. Kennedy of Pine Grove, Cal., and Mrs. James B. Donaldson of Rock Port, Tex.; four sons, Neil P. of Memphis, Tenn., Sardis L. and Rex Joseph of Mobile, Ala., and Leo of Bernalillo; and by one sister, Mrs. Mary Jackson of Lockhart, Minn.
Service arrangements are awaiting the arrival of relatives from Alabama. The French Mortuary in charge.
