CLARENDON - Frankey Eva "Evaline" Burleson, 86, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today in First Assembly of God in Clarendon with the Rev. Chris Ford, associate pastor, and C.W. Parker, Odyssey Hospice chaplain, officiating. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery by Robertson Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Burleson was born Sept. 29, 1923, in Gatesville to Ernest P. and Clora Woodall Gober. She married Leslie James "Lee" Burleson Sr. on Aug. 26, 1941, in Gatesville.

Survivors include a son, James Burleson of Clarendon; two sisters, Jeri Criswell of El Mott and Cena Ellen Smith of McGregor; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Community Care Center, 10 Medical Center Drive, Clarendon, TX 79226; or Odyssey Hospice, 6900 W. Interstate 40, Suite 150, Amarillo, TX 79106.
