Funeral services for Ollie Bell Copeland Wilson, 80, of Marshall will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with the Rev. Dick Sawyer and the Rev. Jim Houston officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Cemetery in Harleton. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 2010, at Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Wilson passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, in Marshall.

Ollie Bell was born in Harleton to John David Copeland and Frances Elizabeth Wells Copeland on Dec. 26, 1929. She married Albert James Wilson on April 5, 1947, in Marshall, celebrating thirty-seven years of marriage before his death in 1984.

She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, where she kept the church nursery and was custodian of the church for many years. She had formerly been employed at Blue Buckle, Lewis Engineering and retired from Western Electric in Shreveport, La.

She is survived by her four sons, Ronnie Wilson, Eddie Wilson, John Newman, and Paul Sellers, all of Marshall; her three daughters, Jimmie Faye Scogins and Clarissa Griffin, also of Marshall and Amy Green, of Bullard; 13 grandchildren; and a number of great - grandchildren; her brother, Neal Copeland of Harleton; and three sisters, Nadine Reid of Longview, Mary Proctor of Marshall, and Opal Fagg of Talco.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Regina Sellers Newman; grandson, Donnie Dwayne Oney; and great-grandson, Samuel Weston Green.

Pallbearers will be Paul Sellers, Keith Oney, Ryan Wilson, Mark Jackson, Josh Green, and Trey Nealy. Lonnie Guffey will serve as an alternate pallbearer. Downs Funeral Home
