Mac was born August 8, 1921, in Morton, Texas, to John David Copeland and Frances Elizabeth Wells Copeland. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and was election judge for Harrison County for 12 years. She worked as a seamstress for Blue Buckle and Imperial Redding for 17 years, retiring in 1954.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Proctor of Marshall; sisters, Nadine Reid of Longview and Opal Fagg and husband, Clyde, of Talco Texas; brother, Neal Copeland and wife, Jean, of Harleton, stepson, Don Proctor and wife, Marcia, of Blacksburg Va.; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends; and Victory Baptist, Fairview Baptist and Belair Baptist families.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; first husband, Roscoe David Russell; sister, Bell Wilson; brothers, Lester Copeland, George Robert Copeland, William Travis Copeland and Buddy Copeland, and stepson, Johnny Proctor.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. today, July 1, 2012, at the funeral home.
