Annalee Melby Moore passed away on July 16, 2002. Born Anna Lee Melby, she was the fourth of six children of Jalmer and Mary Agnes "May" (Ryan) Melby.

Bill and Annalee met during high school at Phoenix Union. They devoted their six decades of life as partners in Arizona to raising their children. Annalee managed the bookstore at West Phoenix High School (now Metro Tech). She took enormous pride in the students she mentored in that capacity. She remained keenly interested and informed in world and local issues throughout her life. Her family will miss her as a definitive source of family history, particularly the early Arizona history of the Ryan and Melby families.

Bill and Annalee will be greatly missed by the many family and friends with whom they shared life in Globe-Miami, Phoenix, Prescott and Tucson. Hard work allowed Annalee and Bill to enjoy their years of retirement. The primary pleasure of these later years as their seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Their enjoyment of the successes of their children was surpassed only by their unwavering commitment to assist in whatever disappointment or crisis that arose.
