Werner Kanske, 66, of 714 St. Clair Avenue, former Kiel resident, died this morning at Sheboygan Memorial hospital. He was born
Aug. 5, 1874, in Felso, Germany, and came to Kiel as a young man. He was employed at the Kiel Woodenware company for 38 years. On Sept. 10, 1898, he married Mary Jaschob, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Jaschob, Sr. He resided in this city for the past 11 years and was employed at the H. C. Prange Company for the past four years. He was a member of the Zion Reformed Church and the Brotherhood of Andrew and Phillip.
Survivors are his widow, four children, Mrs. Alfred (Esther) Qual; Herbert, Norman, and Mrs. Frederick (Ruth) Maurer, all of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Augusta Timrick, of Kiel. Two children died in infancy and one brother and two sisters also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at Zion Reformed Church, the Rev. E. H. Wessler officiating with burial in Kiel Cemetery
