HILDEGARD "BECKY" JOHNSON

Hildegard "Becky" Johnson, 90, formerly of 804 4th St., Kiel, Wis., died Monday evening, Dec. 27, 1993 at Willowdale Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein, Wis., where she was a resident the past two years.
She is the former Hildegard Becker, born May 22, 1903 in Kiel, Wis., daughter of the late Henry and Emma Pingel Becker. She attended elementary school in Kiel and was a graduate of Kiel High School. She also attended Business School in Ripon for one year.
On Dec. 5, 1924 she married Winford Johnson in Waukegan, Ill. She was employed at Stoelting Inc., Kiel, for 24 years, as a bookkeeper, retiring in 1967. Her husband, Winford preceded her in death on Dec. 18, 1942.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Kiel; a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Kiel and a charter member of the United Presbyterian Women.
Survivors include one son, Allen (Donna) Johnson, St. Paul, Minn.; three daughters, Barbara, Healy, Kiel, Alice (Edward) Krostag, Kiel; Nancy (roger) Heimlich, Columbus, Ind; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and three step-great grandsons. She was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters and one son-in-law, Richard Healy.
