Born Aug. 4, 1899, in the Town of New Holstein, he was a son of the late William and Bertha Jochimsen. He was educated in the district schools.
On Feb. 21, 1919, he married Leonore Voss of the Town of Schleswig. The couple lived in New Holstein several years before moving to the Voss homestead farm.
Mr. Jochimsen was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America, the Redmen Lodge and the 24-hour club of the lodge.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Dr. Howard Jochimsen of Philadelphia, Pa.; two granddaughters; and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Hass and Mrs. Fredia Manz, both of Kiel.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel.
