Mrs. Frieda Manz, 80, of 623 Paine St., Kiel, widow of Frank, died at home
Sunday afternoon of an apparent heart attack.
She was born Dec. 5, 1892 in the Town of New Holstein, a daughter of the late
William and Bertha Voss Jochimsen. She attended district schools.
On March 24, 1916 she was married to Mr. Manz. After marriage the couple lived
at Kiel. He husband died on Sept. 24, 1955.
Mrs. Manz was an office employee of Dr. J. P. Guenveur, optometrist, at Kiel,
until her retirement in January, 1972.
She was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ at Kiel and the Yellow
Bird Council 15 of Pocahontas at Kiel.
Survivors are nieces and nephews.
A sister and two brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home,
Kiel. The Rev. John F. Baumann, pastor of St. Peter UCC, will officiate.
Burial will be in the Kiel Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday. A memorial service
will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home by members of the Yellow
Bird Council.
