Eugene Beard Roberts, 56, died at St. Joseph's hospital this morning at 8 o'clock. (3/8/1932) He had been ill for more than a year, since the death of his daughter in January, 1931.
Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Sayre Roberts; Mother, Mrs. Betty F. Roberts; five sisters, Mrs. Mary L. (J. E.) Morris, Mrs. Tillie (O. T.) Moore, Frankfort; Mrs Elizabeth Jane (Richard) Dixon, Mrs. Kizzie (William) Rena and Mrs. Rosa (Hubert) Woodward, all of Lexington; two brothers J. Albert (Laura) Roberts, Ravenna, Ky., and Samuel H. (Edna) Roberts, Lexington.
Funeral Services will be held at the residence, four miles from Lexington on Todds Road, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. J. Wood Browning, assisted by Rev. W. L. Shearer, will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot in Lexington cemetery.
