William G. Roberts, 77 years old, died of pneumonia last night (Jan 7, 1922) at 10 o’clock at his home on the Todd’s Road, five miles from Lexington. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bettie (Elizabeth) F. Roberts; five daughters, Mrs. (Mary Laytham) J. E. Morris, Mrs. (Matilda B.) O. T. Moore, both of Frankfort; Mrs. (Elizabeth Jane) Richard Dixon, Mrs. (Kizziah V.) William Rena, and Mrs. (Rosa) Hubert Woodward, all of Lexington; He was predeceased by one son, Thomas J Roberts, and survived by three sons, J. Albert Roberts (Laura), Ravena; and Eugene B. and Sam H. Roberts, of Lexington.

The body will be brought to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hubert Woodward, 267 Loudon Avenue, this morning.

Funeral services for William G. Roberts, who died Saturday night at his home on the Todd’s Road, five miles from Lexington, will be held this afternoon at 2 o’clock at the
residence of his daughter, Mrs. (Rosa) Hubert Woodward, 267 Loudon Avenue.

Interment will be in the family lot in the Lexington cemetery.

The pallbearers will be Eatin Hiatt, Dr. Eugene Beard, William Utterback, Edward Saunders, George Green and Grant Graham.

William George Roberts, my Grand Father, died on January 7, 1922. I could not find a death certificate for him. His grave is in the Lexington Cemetery.

He also used the name Willie or Willis, I have checked each of those for him on the Kentucky death certificate website without success.

I have found that sometimes the website has misspelled some names so I believe that his name is just misspelled but cannot find the correct one for him.
