Bertha Adkins Cory was a missionary with her husband Abram to China from 1897-1912. She was also with him in Iowa and North Carolina when he pastored churches. Bertha was one of 11 children born to William and Elizabeth Adkins in Hopeville, Iowa. My grandfather Owen Adkins was her brother.
