MOCKSVILLE | Nannie Belle Barneycastle Wilson, 90, of Jericho Church Road, Mocksville, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Jericho Church of Christ, where she was a lifelong member, by Dr. Tom Torpy, Harding Lowery and Tony Forrest. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Wilson was born Feb. 15, 1913, in Davie County to Harvey and Mattie Glascock Barneycastle. She was a homemaker and was retired from Fran Ray Nursing Home. She was very active in her church. She was dedicated to her family and church, loved to do quilting and crocheting and work in her garden. She was preceded in death by her husband, to whom she was married for more than 50 years, Dewitt Clinton Wilson; a daughter, Janet Faye Wilson Seamon on May 4, 1989; two sisters, Sadie Forrest and Mary Forrest; and a brother, Ross Barneycastle.

Surviving are two children, Larry C. Wilson and his wife, Susie, of Mocksville and Lynne Allen and her husband, Bill, of Cleveland; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Irene Matthews of East Bend and Christine Wyatt of Lexington.
