COUNTS, Jesse Junior
Age 85 passed away December 20, 2009, in Lancaster, California. He was born April 6, 1924, in Big Spring, Texas and has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1952. Jesse served in the Army Air Corps during World War II in 45th Bomb Squadron. He retired in 1979, after 30 years of service from Edwards Air Force Base. Jesse was a member of Quartz Hill Church of Christ and a loving husband, and great father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Watsie, of Lancaster, three daughters, Jessie Morrow, of Lancaster, Janice Caler of Quartz Hill, Linda Servetnick and her husband Alan of Prescott, Ariz., one son, Phillip Counts and his wife Barbara of Quartz Hill, one brother, Delbert Hugh Counts and his wife Marjorie of Colorado, eight grandchildren, Coleen (Joseph) Harbough, Jake Caler, Kathy (David) Bailey, Harold (Ramona) Morrow, Michael (Teresa) Morrow, Jason Counts, Brandon (Cynthia) Counts, Austin Counts, eight great-grandchildren, Julia, Ryan B., Andrew, Brian, Emma, Sefra, Ryan G. and DJ. A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2009, with Chapel Services at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 24, 2009, all at Halley-Olsen-Murphy, Lancaster Chapel. Interment will following at Joshua Memorial Park.
