When my daughter was assigned a classroom project of "Who am I?" while in school, the internet was extremely young and no really easy way of filling in your ancestors other than questioning the living or hours ensconced in the library or local LDS family center. By questioning me and my parents she sparked the ember that would grow and grow in both myself and my mother.
When I discovered Find A Grave and its wealth of information, I was in heaven. Many of my ancestors I had no idea where they were buried. Now a whole new world was opening up.
I have since become a contributor and photographer. When I go to the cemetery to fulfill a photo request, I take extra photos of the surrounding plots.
Anyone wishing to use my photos may do so. My only request is to please give Find A Grave a mention in your use of the photo. Without this website, the photo wouldn't be there.
