Margaret Arritt McNeal, 82, of Naples, Fla., and formerly of Covington, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006, at Imperial Health Care Center in Naples.
She was born Nov. 30, 1923 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Harry A. and Rebecca Helms Arritt.
Ms. McNeal retired as a registered nurse from Grace Hospital in Richmond.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Christine Jordan, and her brother-in-law, James Jordan.
Surviving are two daughters, Rebecca Miller and her husband, Robert, of Fairfax and Judith Saunders and her husband, Larry, of Naples, Fla.; one son, Robert McNeal and his wife, Trish, of Leesburg; two grandchildren, Rebecca Moore of Fairfax and David Saunders and his wife, Mellanie, of Gainesville, Fla.; one brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Verna Arritt of Covington; one niece, Cindy Morrow, and one nephew, James Jordan.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Hollenbeck officiating. Interment will be in Alleghany Memorial Park.
