HARVEY AMBROSE BOONE, 80, of Danville, died on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1992, at 11:35 p.m. at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. He was a native and former resident of New Hope and a retired employee of the L&N Railroad. The son of the late William Henry and Josie Agnes Hicks Boone, he is survived by four sisters, Lucille Runyon of Columbus, Ind., Mary Antonella Boone of New Hope, Mrs. Alvin (Nancy) Lamkin of New Hope and Margaret Norris of Lebanon Junction; three half-brothers, Joseph Edward Boone of Florida, John Henry Boone and Donald Boone, both of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, 1992, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in New Hope. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Rev. Stanley L. Osborne, pastor, officiated. Pallbearers were Bill Lamkin, Clifford Lamkin, Ernie Lamkin, Murrell Hagan, Joe Howell and Herb Stiltz. A prayer service was held on Friday, Oct. 9, 1992, at Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto, which was in charge of arrangements.
