Wauhillau & Billy had the following children: (1) Billie Arlene of Fort Gibson (named after Billy and Arlie) who married Hoyt Ray Disney; (2) Bobby Ray of Fort Gibson who married Thelma Smith; (3) Sammie of Vian married Armil Joe Parker and Leslie Locust; (4) Rickey Joe of Perkins near Fort Gibson married Betty Ruth McGlothlin; and 2 boys who died in infancy: ( 5-6) Carson Leroy and Teddy Gene (buried at the Old Duck Cemetery on Manard Bayou by their grandfather Isaac Harris).

He married in 1985 (2) Jo Ann Stills, daughter of Marvin Stills and Geneva White; they had 2 children: Jerry Harris and Joy Harris who married Jim Parker.

Billy pastored the Old Mission Free Holliness Church at Fort Gibson for 30 years; when he resigned, his son Rickey Joe was appointed pastor.

◦Billy Harris
TULSA - Rev. Billy Harris passed from this life Thursday, March 9, 2006 in Tulsa at the age of 89 years. He was born July 20, 1916 in the Manard community in Cherokee County to Isaac Joshua and Nora Ann (Torix) Harris.

He was married to Wauhillau Adkisson on March 29, 1937 in Pawhuska, Okla. He gave his life to the Lord in 1953 and became the pastor of the Old Mission Church in Fort Gibson in February of 1955 and pastored for 30 years, retiring in February of 1985.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Wauhillau Harris. They had been married for 45 years until her death in November of 1982. His parents, Isaac and Nora Harris; two infant sons, Carson Leroy Harris and Teddy Gene Harris; and a brother, Arlie Harris also precede him in death.

In 1985, he married JoAnn Snow and she survives him. He is also survived by six children; Billie Disney and husband Hoyt, Bobby Harris and wife Thelma, Sammie Locust and husband Les, Rev. Rick Harris and wife Betty, Jerry Harris and wife Nancy and Joy Parker and husband Jim, 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, four stepchildren and six stepgrandchildren.

Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Old Mission Church in Fort Gibson with Rev. Rick Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Hendricks Cemetery near Tahlequah, Okla. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Funeral arrangements directed by Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
