Rites Are Held For "Uncle Zack Holmes"

Funeral services for Z. T. (Uncle Zack) Holmes, 85, were held at Enon Baptist Church July 24 with the Rev. V. Sizemore officiating. Burial followed at Enon Cemetery. Mr. Holmes died July 23 at his home near Eva after a short illness. He spent all of his life in Morgan County.

He is survived by nine children, 55 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.

Mr. Holmes joined the Baptist Church when 21 years old and was active in religious work all of his life.
