Cornelia W."Connie"Over,88 of Reidsburg,died at 2:30am.Sunday,June 16,1996,at Clarion Care Center.Born June 17,1907,Reidsburg,dau.of Harry and Carrie Humphrey Over.She was a school teacher in Clarion Co.for more than 40yrs. She taught in both Sligo and Rimersburg schools.
She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association.Ms.Over was a member of the Monroe Chapel United Methodist Church near Reidsburg.She enjoyed crafts,sewing and crocheting.
Survivors include three sisters,Mrs.Donald(Marjorie)Curll,Clarion;Mrs.Pauline Muir,Sligo and Mrs.Gladene Kline,New Bethlehem;several nieces and nephews;and great-nephews.She preceded in death by her parents;two sisters,Allene and Twila Over;and infant twins sisters.
Funeral services were held at the Varner Funeral Home,Sligo with Rev.Margaret Dunlap,retired Methodist minister,officiating.
Interment-Churchville Cem.Cornelia W. "Connie" Over, 88, of Reidsburg, RD2 Clarion, died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, June 16, 1996, in Clarion Care Center.
Born June 17, 1907, in Reidsburg, she was a daughter of Harry and Carrie Humphrey Over.
Ms. Over was a school teach in Clarion County for more than 40 years, having taught in the Sligo and Rimersburg schools.
She was a member of the Monroe Chapel United Methodist Church near Reidsburg and the Retired Teacher Association.
Ms. Over enjoyed crafts, sewing and crocheting.
Surviving are three sisters, Marjorie (Mrs. Donald) Curll of Clarion, Mrs. Pauline Muir of Sligo and Mrs. Gladene Kline of New Bethlehem; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Over was preceded in death by two sisters, Allene and Twila Over, and infant twin sisters.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, in the Varner Funeral Home in Sligo. The Rev. Margaret Dunlap, a retired Methodist minister, will officiate.
Interment will follow in Churchvlle Cemetery near Curllsville.
The family suggest memorial donations be made to the Monroe Chapel United Methodist Church, RD1, Sligo, Pa. 16255.
