WALTON—Mrs. Susie Deisch, wife of Edward H. Deish, native of here, and former resident of this community died at St. Joseph's hospital, Kokomo, after a short illness. A resident of Howard and Cass counties most of her life she had moved from Galveston to Kokomo in 1938. Born in Cass county she was the daughter of John and Hannah Bitner Bechdol. Her marriage was to Edward H. Deisch.
Survivors are the husband; two sons and two daughters: Dolph 0. and James 0., Lake Worth, Florida; Mrs. Allen Buntin, Boyn Beach, Florida; Mrs. Jack Wheeler, Kokomo; eight grandchildren; two sisters and a brother: Mrs. Luella Benson, Alexandria, Va.; Mrs. Laura Martin, Walton; Benjamin Bechdol, Walton; a halfsister, Mrs. Vida Galloway, Walton; a half-brother, Edward Bechdol, of here.
She attended the Wesleyan Methodist church and was a member of the Auxiliary 734 of the Local Carpenters Union. At one time she served as investigator for the Cass county Welfare Department. Friends may call at the Ellers funeral home, Kokomo, after 4 p.m. Thursday. Rites will be there at 2. p.m., Friday with the Reverend Dallas Mclntosh officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
