WALTON-Benjamin F. Bechdol, 93, of here, died at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday. He expired at St. Joseph's Hospital, Logansport, after a long illness. Born Sept. 9, 1878, he was the son of John and Hannah Jane Bitner Bechdol. His marriage was to Ethel Ramer, who died in 1905.
Survivors are two sons: Colen B., 2435 Usher St., Logansport; Theodore, Florida; a grandson; a sister, Mrs. Laura Martin and a half-sister, Mrs. Vida Galaway, both of Walton. Three sons preceded him in death, one dying in World War 2.
Friends may call after 5 p.m.Wednesday at Wolf Funeral Home. Rites there will be at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Howard Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery.
