Son of Thomas Boyden and Martha Holden Boyden.

Children: Joseph Boyden Jr, Daniel Boyden, John Boyden, Nathaniel Boyden, Rebecca Boyden Lyon Black, and John Boyden (husband of Elizabeth Rice Boyden).

Gravesite Details

In 1853, all markers in the Old Burial Ground were buried a foot deep over their grave, and the Common was "smoothed over". All markers and inscriptions were carefully recorded before their burial.
