ORIA PRINCE
Oria Prince, 86, died September 20, at a local hospital. She was born on November 5, 1881 in Missouri and had been a La Grande resident for 25 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. She is survived by her widower, John Prince; four sons, Bert and Jesse Winterton, La Grande, Willie Winterton, Cashmere, Wash., Eldon Winterton, Puyallup, Wash.; two daughters, Mattie John, Wapato, Wash., Gladys Taylor, Nampa, Idaho; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Daniels Valley Funeral Chapel on Monday, Sept.23, at 2 p.m. Bishop James Huber will officiate. Burial will take place in Nampa, Idaho, on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 11 a.m.
