Chancy "CB" was born in Iowa in 1861. He married Eldora Lee Lowry nee Meredith. She was first married to Henry Lowry(1857-1910)in December 1892. Henry died in 1910. She then remarried Chancy "CB" with two known children born: Robert B.(1913-1996IA.), Lloyd C.(1916-?),with the family living in Floyd, O'Brien, IA. From Eldora's first marriage the three Lowry children stayed with Chancy and Eldora- Warren married in 7/3/1915. Step daughter Eva(Vera) Lowry continued to live with the family leaving sometime after 1920. The family moved to Sheldon, IA. living there up through the 1930s. Step son Wallace left the home 7/4/1930 marrying at Spirit Lake,IA. Chancy's older son, Robert married Dorothy Osgood living in Cedar Falls, Iowa area. Chancy was laid to rest in Sheldon, Iowa. Eldora lived in the area until she joined him in 1951.
