Eldora Lee Meredith was born to Susanna nee Foster and CP Meredith in 1876 in Iowa. She was married to her first husband, Henry Lowry who was born in Ireland,1857, immigrating to WI when he was seven years old. They married in Boyden, Sioux, IA. Henry and Eldora had three children: Warren 1894, Eva(Vera)-1895, and Wallace-1907. The family members were each born and lived respectively in Boyden, Sioux, and Sheldon, IA. The Lowry family relatives owned a General Store in Boyden, IA. Most likely Henry had contact/worked at that location/later in 1907 Inwood General Store where he died from a gun cleaning/accident as noted. He died in December 1907 in Inwood/Richland, Lyon County, IA.
Eldora continued working the store until she remarried Chancy Ruby a few years later with Eva(Vera)and Warren married, young Wallace living with (their step siblings)her sons Robert B., born in 1913, and Lloyd C., born in 1916, at Floyd,OBrien, IA. where they lived in 1930.
Eldora's death was in April 4, 1951 when she entered eternity. She was buried next to her second husband Chancy.

She had grand children in Minnesota and Illinois who were Lowry survivors.
