Funeral rites for Robert Stevens, 16, of Miller, who was killed in a highway accident a mile west of Brady Wednesday evening, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Miller United Brethren Church. Robert, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Stevens of Miller, had left his home six hours earlier to hitchike to Wyoming for a visit with his brothers. Riding with Walfred Anderson of Minden, he was holding a flashlight while a tire was being changed when he was hit by a truck driven by Dale Campbell of Denver. His father said here today death was instantaneous. The body was taken to the Adams funeral home in North Platte.
Surviving besides his parents are six brothers and sisters, Bill of Cheyenne, Wyo., Ethel Lees of Walden, Colo., Neil of Big Piney, Wyo., Roy of Moneta, Wyo., John of the army near Detroit, Mich., Elva Albrecht of Miller, Lawrence of the home and Gene of Seattle, Wash.
