Mrs. McLaughlin was born Nov. 20, 1910 in Dawson County to John and Laura (Cole) Stevens and was a lifetime resident of the Amherst-Miller-Kearney area. She was employed as a nurse's aide at the State Tuberculosis Hospital for 10 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Evelyn Olsen of Kearney; two sons, Kenneth W. Albrecht of Kearney and LaVern E. Albrecht of Kearney; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers, John Stevens of Amherst, Eugene Stevens of Amherst and Lawrence Stevens of Washington, D.C.; and sister Ethel Lees of Bozeman, Mont.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Albrecht on March 4, 1961; second husband, Roy McLaughlin on April 26, 1970; one grandson and five brothers.
