Frank Veal age 88, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009.
Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Nelson, Rev. Matt Martin and Dr. Royesse Stowe officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Veal was a native of Hancock County but had made his home in Milledgeville. He was retired from GTE with over 38 years of service. He was an Army Veteran of World War II receiving two purple hearts. He was a member of Montpelier United Methodist Church where he served as the lay leader for 48 years.

Survivors include his wife Lavenia C. Veal of Milledgeville, his son Mike Veal (Becky) of Atlanta, his daughter, Phillis Veal Brown (Johnny) of Milledgeville, two sisters, Nettie Wiley of Milledgeville and Pattie Resseau of Eatonton, 3 grandchildren, Stacy Pittman (Todd),
Jade Brown (Jenny) and Neil Shivers, 4 great-grandchildren, Kellen and Colt Brown, McKay and Chandler Pittman.

The family will receive friends at Moores Funeral Home Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and will be at 126 Allenwood Rd. for friends to call.
