MILLEDGEVILLE: Funeral services for George W. Veal, 68, who died in a local hospital Sunday, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Moore's Funeral Home.
The Rev. J.W. Layfield and the Rev. Joseph A. Moore will officiate. Burial will be at Knowles Chapel Cemetery near Sparta.
Mr. Veal is survived by his wife; Mrs. Julia Johnson Veal, Sandersville; three sons, Frank Veal, Floyd Veal and Marion Veal, all of Milledgeville; four daughters, Mrs. I.N. Brookins, Augusta, Mrs. Albert Wiley and Mrs. Harold Knowles, both of Milledgeville, and Mrs. Jean Resseau of Eatonton; one brother, Nathan Veal, Sandersville; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Padgett, Sandersville, and Mrs. Tully Raines, Americus; and 14 grandchildren.
