Paul Bailey, age 67, of Centerville, Iowa died Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at the Mercy Medical Center in Centerville.

Paul was born August 11, 1938 the son of Homer and Laura(Winters)Bailey in Centerville, Iowa. Paul married Clara McMurtry on October 6, 1969 in San Franciso, California. He worked as a crew chief on a guided missile site in San Francisco.

Paul is survived by his wife Clara Bailey of Centerville, Iowa; four children, Krista Ann(Jeff)Brown of Moulton, Iowa, Paul(Janet)Edwards Sarver of Wyoming, Minnesota, Staria Kay(Emmit)Garcia of Des Moines, Iowa, and Dennis Wayne Sariver of Promise City, Iowa; a brother Robert(Veriene)Bailey of Centerville, Iowa; two sisters; Maxine(Frank)Blaken of Gary, Indiana, and Charlotte Ochs of Aghte, Colorado; ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Homer and Laura Bailey; a granddaughter Paula Karen Irene Rios; and a sister Ruth Fletcher.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 7, 2006 11:00 AM at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Pastor Patrick Doherty officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home all day Friday with the family present from 6-8 PM. A memorial has been established to either the American Heart or the American Diabetes Association and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
