MARY LOU JEFFRIES JONES
Mrs. Mary Lou Jeffries Jones, 64, of Chicago, and a former resident of Blytheville, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, at her home. Born to Clyde Jeffries and Nellie Cole Jeffries Ingram in Beulah, Miss., she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God. She was much loved by her family and will be remembered for always getting the family together when ever she could.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Louis H. Jones Jr.; brothers, Harold Jeffries and Lewis Ingram; and a sister, Mattie Jeffries.

Mrs. Jones leaves her husband of 48 years, Louis H. Jones of the home; Her grandchildren, Justin Jones, Joshua Jones, Stephanie Jones and Jacob Jones, all of Chicago; Her brothers, Clyde Jeffries of Chicago, Bobby Ingram of Salem, Mo., Glenn Ingram of Chicago, Joe Ingram, Anthony Ingram and Roy Ingram, all of Blytheville;

Her sisters, Lydia Okamura of Sacramento, Calif., Bonnie Batte of Memphis, Tenn., and Elizabeth Jarrett and Helen Payne, both of Blytheville.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville, with the Rev. Mitchell King Jr. officiated. Burial follow in the Elmwood Cemetery and the family received visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
