Funeral services for Zelma L. Cummings, 92, of Swink will be held at Ustick Donelson Johnson Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. John Knight officiating.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cummings died Jan. 7, 2002, at the Fowler Health Care Center. She was born Oct. 15, 1909, at Burton, Kan., to James T. and Mary Ann(Martin) Randles.

She married Irven A. Cummings at Raton, N.M., on Sept. 15, 1950.

She grew up in Kansas and Oklahoma, moving to Colorado in 1933. She worked at the LaJunta Army Air Field and Montgomery Ward. She was also a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school many years.

Survivors include her husband Irven; and sisters-in-law Helen Cummings of Fowler and Dora Lee(Myron) Iams of Rocky Ford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
