William was born 22 Oct 1868 near Franklin, Williamson County, Tennessee to Loving H Baugh & Tennessee Blackburn Baugh. He came to Texas at the age of five with his parents. William grew up in Lavaca County and married Willie Stacy on 22 Apr 1886 in Moulton. They moved to Coleman County, Texas in 1892 with their 3 oldest children. They lived near Rockwood until 1901 when they moved near the Cleveland church, southeast of Santa Anna. William died 27 Sep 1943 in Santa Anna, Coleman County, Texas.
