Mrs. Gemima Reeves of Springdale died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Annie Boatright, there Sunday, October 3 at 12:30 noon. She was a lifelong resident of Madison county until moving to Springdale a few years ago. Mrs. Reeves would have been 94 years of age November 10.
She was born November 10, 1860 in Madison county. Her parents were Newt Bolinger and Anna Dotson Bolinger. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include two sons, Jess N. Stansell of the Whorton community and Asberry Stansell of Nortonville, Kans.; two daughters, Mrs. Annie Boatright of Springdale and Mrs. Laura Jones of Kingston, 30 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Whorton Tuesday morning, October 5 at 10 o'clock conducted by the Rev. Jake Drake. Burial was in the Whorton Creek cemetery under the direction of the Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Lee Stansell, Dee Stansell, Clell Jones, Virgil Jones, Creed Stansell and George Stansell.
