Mrs. Gentry was a loving homemaker, a devout Christian and member of Mill Creek Baptist Church having served as pre-school Sunday school teacher and nursery worker for many years and member of the Todd Sunday School Class. She was an avid reader, cook and loved flowers, plants, birds, family and especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Gentry cherished her friends, classmates and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Algie, Garland, Clarence "W.C." (Judy), Samuel, Lawrence "Bud", and Ruthie.
Mrs. Gentry is survived by her children, Anthony H. "Tony" Gentry of Danville, Va., Patricia Goodwin and husband Carl of Durham, NC, Jodie Hall and husband Carlyle Hall, Jr., of Zebulon, NC, Jennifer Blalock and husband Keith of Angier, NC, and her grandchildren, Jason Robert Goodwin, Benjamin Thomas Hall, Rebecca Anne Hall, and Mitchell Keith Blalock.
