Nancy was the daughter of Frances Calvert. Her uncles were George and Cecil Calvert. The three Calvert brothers are said to have a 'claim' to Calvert Square in what is now known as Baltimore, Maryland.
She was married twice. First to Robert Giles by whom she had four children:

Robert Giles Sr., drowned in the Susquehanna River "north" (probably actually up-river) of Danville, Pennsylvania.
