Mrs. S. L. Dingmam
St. Johnsville, Aug. 24.—Mrs. Ella Jane Alter, wife of Silas Dingman, died at her home on Hough street, Tuesday, after a long illness of tuberculosis. She was fifty-six years of age.
Mrs. Dingman was a member of the Lutheran church at Freysbush and of the Women's Benefit association of the Maccabees of this village.
Surviving are her husband, one son, Silas L., two daughters, Mrs. Orra Matteson and Miss Laurene D. Dingman, all of this Village; three grandchildren. Her father Reuben Alter, of Freysbush, also survives.
The funeral will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock, standard time. The Rev. H. C. Ficken of St. John's Reformed church and the Rev. R. J. Van Dusen of Saugerties will be the officiating clergymen. Interment will be in the Freysbush cemetery.
