Charlie "Sonny" Hill Jr. was born to Charlie Sr. and Alberta Turner Hill.

He was a former member of The Church of the Living God Temple 130 in Peoria.

Sonny loved his family, cars and to dress fashionably. He was a very outgoing, friendly man.

He leaves his fiancee, Regina Bailey of Saginaw; one son, Derek Hill of Peoria; three daughters, Christy Hill, Twana Henry and Sheryl Henry, all of Chicago; five sisters, Charlie Mae (Theodus) Pointer of Forest City, Ark., Louisa Pointer of Madison, Ark., Veardie Mae Hill and Classie Gayton, both of Chicago, and Lueseal (David) Duncan of Peoria; two brothers, L.V. and Hillton Hill, both of Peoria; 11 grandchildren; a special close relative, Paul Boone; a special brother-in-law, Bennie Bailey; a special nephew, Lou Ross; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends.

Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Osia Lee Thomas.
