CHESTER MAN CLAIMED AT 94

Samuel H Murray, 94, a retired millwright from the Homer Laughlin China Co., died this morning at the Fox Nursing Home in Chester after an illness of three years. He previously made his home with a daughter, Mrs Doris Beck, 887 Phoenix Ave, Chester, until three years ago.
He was born July 10, 1868 in Greene Co., Pa to the Rev and Mrs Levi F Murray. He retired 6 years ago after 50 years in the pottery.
He was a member of the Newell Christian Church. His wife, Mrs Myrtle Murray, died in 1957.
He is survived by 5 other daughters, Mrs Odelia Warwick, of Nowata, Oklahoma, Mrs Flossie Whittington, Mrs Laura Bailey and Mrs Sue Bennett, all of Newell, and Mrs Olive Williams of Chester; two sons, Jack Murray of New Martinsville, and Floyd Murray of Nowata and 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
The Chester Arner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
